Vipp unveils its latest architectural retreat: a design cabin on Stormolla Island in Lofoten. It’s set against a landscape of dramatic cliffs, sheltered inlets, and shifting Nordic light.

Designed by LOGG Arkitekter, the cabin balances contemporary minimalism with references to Lofoten’s historic architecture of fishermen cottages traditionally raised above the water. The guesthouse floats between land and sea, dissolving the boundary between the two. The timber cabins are supported by legs above rock formations. Inside, the atmosphere is calm and elemental. As with all Vipp guesthouses, the architecture acts as a new lens through which to experience the brand’s universe and the breathtaking, surrounding landscapes.

This Lofoten cabin marks the 13th chapter in Vipp’s guesthouse story, where each location explores a different architectural typology shaped by its surroundings. This edition explores Scandinavian roots and the natural scenery of the north.
