Last week, the Italian company Alessi announced that 59-year-old Alberto Camerlengo will now serve as CEO. Alberto Alessi – grandson of founder Giovanni Alessi – will remain president. Mr. Camerlengo has already held numerous management positions, particularly in the fashion industry, such as at Furla, Casual Corner Group, Fossil Italia, etc. Since 2019, Alessi itself has been 40% owned by Oakley Capital, with the remaining shares held by the family.
