This autumn, HAY continues its collaboration with Belgian design duo Muller Van Severen with innovative and playful new designs in both furniture and accessories. The Colour Rack and Colour Hanger offer an elegant and functional alternative to a wardrobe while providing a new way of dividing up space in both private and public settings. With its simple, sculptural form, the Colour Rack’s C and S-shaped options and beautiful colours bring balance to its surroundings. ”Muller Van Severen have a marvellous understanding of dimensions, so you are sure to end up with something that is very balanced in terms of proportions,” says Rolf Hay. ”And then there’s the colour. We at HAY usually have strong opinions about colours, but working with Muller Van Severen requires no comment – they are excellent at applying colour.”
The Colour Rack comes flat packed – and is easily assembled by the customer – in a range of appealing hues: Jungle Green, Dijon Yellow, Eggshell, Standard Grey, Maroon Red and Steel Blue. The design is also ideal for producing set-ups in retail spaces.
