Soft and seemingly fluid, yet steady and cut from a single sheet of steel, Muuto’s Pleat Mirror adds a sculptural presence to the full-length mirror. Designed by Swedish designer Gustav Winsth, the mirror presents itself less as an ordinary object and more as a spatial gesture. Bold, reflective and undeniably architectural.
Its folded, mirror-polished stainless steel surface introduces depth and movement. Light bends, reflections shift, and the mirror subtly transforms the room throughout the day, serving almost as an artwork. True to Winsth’s background in mechanical engineering, the mirror feels both industrial and expressive, inviting not only use, but observation and inspection as well.
