A notable presence at Salone Del Mobile across various installations was the shiny or reflective curtain. While not an expensive material, it makes a significant impact and reaffirms the continuation of the shiny trend initiated during last year’s fair. We observed this reflective curtain at the Brazilian installation ‘Piloto’, curated by Ricardo Gaioso. The exhibit showcased functional furniture reflecting the personal experiences of different designers. The space design was led by Alberto Dapporto, who was also responsible for the shiny curtain installation.
