Studio Noa Verhofstad has turned a vintage Citroën HY into a travelling jewellery boutique. Step inside, and an entire world unfolds, built around the creations of jewellery designer Bibi van der Velden.
The interior is a layered landscape of lush plant imagery, textured glass and unexpected creatures. Ripples in the glass turn greenery into shifting silhouettes, and each display feels like a discovery. A crocodile, familiar from Bibi’s jewellery collection, lies partially concealed among the foliage. It is one of many details that reward a closer look, drawing visitors further into the experience. The plants, lighting, glass and displays work together to create a world with its own atmosphere and logic, where nothing feels incidental. The van is treated as a complete setting rather than a conventional retail interior. Its limited footprint becomes an invitation to create intimacy, surprise and a sense of escapism.
