Born out of a practical need in their own home, the hanging lamp offered a simple solution: bringing light to the table without a ceiling socket by suspending the light source from the wall.
The lamp was originally presented at the first solo exhibition by Muller Van Severen at Valerie Traan in 2011. It looked almost like a drawing translated into three dimensions: a slender, colourful line ending in a light bulb framed by a simple, flea-market-inspired shade. Now, the collection welcomes the Hanging Lamp Mini. Its more compact proportions preserve the original design’s distinctive line and uncomplicated charm, while offering a smaller interpretation.
