The Pedrali Pavilion in Mornico al Serio was originally designed by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi for Pedrali’s 60th anniversary in 2023. Now, it takes on a new, more permanent form as a design destination.

While the architecture retains the lightness of its original timber structure, a new brass roof provides the pavilion with greater durability. Inside, the pavilion brings together an auditorium, showroom and event spaces for education and community activities. The ground floor hosts a new showroom dedicated to Pedrali’s outdoor collections, where DWA Design Studio’s installation for the outdoor collection uses freestanding partitions, suspended elements and photography to create a sequence of changing perspectives.

Beyond the building, new pathways, terraced seating and planted areas extend the pavilion’s social function into the landscape. With a new geothermal heating and cooling system, Pedrali looks towards the future, turning its pavilion into a hub for education, discussion and design.
