Founded in 1985 by Mireille and Pierre Benzaquen as a pioneering fitness club, Paris’ Ken Club has now been reimagined by architects Marion Mailaender and Rodolphe Parente, bringing its carefree spirit from 40 years ago into the present.

The duo plays with bold colours and expressive forms, from a monumental concrete staircase and a bubble-clad counter to striking colour contrasts that create a sense of playfulness. It is the first time Mailaender and Parente have worked together, and they are making it count. The renewed club goes well beyond fitness alone, with new training studios, cycling facilities, recovery spaces such as hammams and saunas, a swimming pool and a private sun garden. Finally, Dagim completes the experience. The Mediterranean restaurant overlooks the garden, the Seine and the Eiffel Tower and is run by Michelin-starred chef Assaf Granit.
