Brazilian architecture studio Kika+Arq recently completed the renovation of NTZ House, a residence in São Paulo defined by thoughtful interventions and sustainable solutions. Designed for a family with two young children and pets, the project optimises energy and water use through solar panels, photovoltaic systems and water reuse strategies.

The house’s greatest asset is its generous garden, which inspired a strong connection between the interior and exterior spaces. Existing structures were preserved wherever possible to minimise demolition, while sustainable materials and engineered timber were used throughout. Guided by principles of conscious consumption and reduced environmental impact, the project demonstrates a sensitive approach to contemporary living.
